Churchill Arts Council

The Churchill Arts Council was founded in 1986 and resident artist residencies in schools and art exhibitions began that year. Over the past three decades, our program has grown to become an ongoing forum for exploring a variety of creative ideas including: an annual art series; art exhibitions; reading literature and discussing artists from every walk of life; exhibiting ancient and foreign images; art school offering courses and workshops; scholarships to pursue art courses; publication of print and online art publications, as well as financial and other educational-informational materials. We also participate in several organizations that strive to promote the development of the arts throughout the country. The church's arts programs and activities are supported by a variety of public and private organizations including the National Endowment for the Arts, the Andy Warhol Foundation, the Nevada Council on the Arts, the Nevada Commission on Tourism, and the Western States Arts Association. , Fallon City, Churchill County, and many private projects, businesses and local people.

The book concert between Mile Twelve and Paul Thorn is presented in partnership with the mayor, city and town of Fallon.
